A collection of short stories that can be as twisted as they are thought-provoking. This volume from Mitsukazu Mihara (creator of DOLL) is the first of four stand-alone releases from the cult favorite Gothic Lolita manga-ka.
Mitsukazu Mihara
Mihara-sensei made her manga debut in 1994 with the short Gomu no Iranai Kodomo-tachi, winning a contest for the magazine Feeling Young.
Mitsukazu Mihara is particularly famous for the "Gothic Lolita" fashions that she dresses her characters in. Another famous series of hers - besides the uber-trendy Doll is Happy Family, a manga about the family of a boy with an Oedipus complex.
Future volumes by Mihara-sensei from TOKYOPOP include Haunted House and Shigeshoshi.

I use 'Hay Lin' as my avatar/display picture because I identify myself with her - both appearance and personality. I like W.I.T.C.H - the "comic" isn't so babyish as opposed to the series. That's all Sip Animation and Disney.

LOL, I remember when I saw the ad for this in the back of her Haunted House. I like Beautiful People better than Haunted House, but they're both good. ^_^

I love it! I can't wait for the next ones to come out! There are only 6 chapters in this one, i.e. 6 stories but each story is different and has it's own style and twist. Although it uses speculative fiction by means of story telling, some stories end tragically and some happy and that's what gives this manga its touch of realsism with the raw human emotion and language.
