unmasked
UNMASKED Hidden in a mask is my true identity; not even a mask I made but threw others eyes .One scornful battering glance is all it took to hide me in imprisoning walls. Burning inside is a small damp candle that is slowly being extinguished and smothered by tears of pain and sorrow .No words can reach me threw my mask ; only insults and evil actions .But yet inside burns that small damp candle ready to shine as bright as the sun ones free of its socially bonding chains . Today the mask, chains, and walls all fall and crumble at every word I speak. For the light has burned through at last. I will no longer hide behind my books and my enchanting poems in which I placed my soul, hoping my friends would find it and rescue me. But I’m asking for help no longer for I am free to be me. Clap if you will thinking it is a poem or a story; just meaning less words said by a child with no knowledge .But inside me this all is happens behind my broken mask.
