Go to Tokyo and bask in the Lolita-ness!
Now's your chance. I found something pretty interesting, and it just happens to be affiliated with Dream Shoppe, one of the groups sponsoring the Gothic & Lolita Bible Contest...
...a "Tokyo Darkside Gothic & Lolita Tour" going on in mid-April (the 11th to the 18th).
A whole week long, semi-guided, and you even get to meet the people who started the Angelic Pretty store. I imagine one of the store's founders, Maki, must be the same person doing those wonderful illustrations all over their site. For $2200, it seems like a decent deal, too. Most of it is the airfare, I'm guessing, but considering you get hotels and some meals with it too, it's not that bad at all. If you have a week, $2200 (well, you'll need more than that if you're buying Lolita outfits!) and someone to go with, this would be the best spring break ever...!
(If I were going, I'd definitely take them up on the Tsukiji market tour. Fish doesn't get any fresher than that, and I love sashimi ^^)
