...Singles Awareness Day (a.k.a. Valentines Day), is not just a day for couples, but also a day to think about that you're single, and there's nothing you can do about it now. But there are a few benefits for those who are single:

1. You don't have to get anyone outside your family any chocolate (that saves you an extra 5 bucks).

2. You have the freedom to look at other guys! (...or girls if you're a guy)

3. There's chocolate. ...Lots and lots of chocolate!

I may be wrong, but I do believe that sometime between Feb. 13-15 is Rice Day. So think about rice! (Brown rice, fried rice, rice with soy sauce...) It gets your mind off Valentine's Day!

So don't feel so bad! There's always next year! And therefore: Happy Singles Awareness Day! We deserve a holiday, too! (...at the same time!)
