I think this is how one makes an entry appear on one's "Journal", and if that's the case, I suppose I should start off my first post with an introduction of myself.

I'm currently a college student.

I've taken classes in a lot of different stuff, but I have taken a few painting and ceramic studio classes since my major is in art. In high school I tried pretty desperately to win rising stars and whatnot, but ... I guess I'm not good enough for that. So I stopped entering a few years back. LOL

I'm not really sure what I'm doing with my life at this point. I'm going to classes and producing work, but a lot of it seems very detached and irrelevant to my own background. I can make a good painting or a good looking pot, but it's not as meaningful or significant to me as much as a short story comic or a series of consecutive doodles.

I'm still somewhat interested in drawing comics, but I don't think I'll enter rising stars again because it makes me act somewhat desperately. I am thinking about drawing some small comics for the forums here. I haven't drawn a multi-page comic in years now (2 or 3 years?) and I think the small format of the online one will be a gentle way to ease myself back into the habit of comic drawing.

We'll see.
