Fuyumi's Soryo doesn't focus too much on her backgrounds, which often in other mangas are more impressive than the characters themselves, but on facial expressions, which are so realistic you can feel the characters' emotions resonate within yourself-never mind that its just a little ink and paper. MARS features an opposites-attract romance that's both exciting and believable, as the relationship is imperfect but definitely worth it in every way. Though this manga doesn't overdose on humor, the drama is so fast-paced and intriguing it doesn't matter. I've finished one of these volumes in 28 minutes before. Definitely worth a look. ^_~

MARS's deep angst, realism, breath-taking art that manages to stun with natural beauty alone and emotional storytelling makes it a stand-out shoujo manga.
