Fiction: LABYRINTH: FAR FROM THERE
This is a story that I've been working on for quite some time. It *is* set in the world of Labyrinth, and is, as of this writing, three chapters. Please check it out and leave reviews *on fanfiction.net* and not here on TP.com. They accept anonymous reviewers so you do not have to be registered. Yes, I guess it could be considered cheating to just leave you this link, but for me, it is a much better outlet as I can keep up with my story's statistics there. Thanks for reading, and since you wi...

So..I err...didn't get Sweeney Todd on Tuesday. Yeah. I might've got a teensy tiny bit overly wrapped up in roleplay drama on Gaia. ^.^; Which was EPIC by the way. HOWEVER. Yesterday, my mom called me and was like "HI I just spent 43$ of your Money!!" And I'm thinking O.O Man she better have bought me the friggin' special edition for that kind of cash.. Turns out she bought me both Sweeney Todd AND Labyrinth. SCORE!! *basks in movie's awesomeness* ...

Blogs: ARE YOU A LABYRINTH FAN?
I'm a bit late to the game here as this news was first announced at WonderCon last weekend, which was followed by a web announcement on Jake Forbes' blog that was linked to Mangablog and Comics Worth Reading. However, in case you haven't heard, TOKYOPOP is publishing a second series based on Jim Henson's Labyrinth. This one will be an anthology that will focus on areas of the Labyrinth universe that we're not going to get to in Return to Labyrinth, our currently ongoing Labyrinth series. &nb...

A picture I JUST recently did in open canvas. Jareth is from the movie "The Labyrinth." Tho he kinda has a bit of my own touch. I kind of like this picture. I might do more. XD Edit: Um i think this thing resizes pictures this is the second pic that ended up going down in quality.. even tho the picture IS under 500kb...there must be a hight and width requirement too.. If you would like to see the picture in full quality copy and paste this link. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums...

Blogs: YOU KNOW HE'S TRULY ONE OF US...
You know Jake T. Forbes is truly one of us Labyrinth fans when you realize he's just written a visitation. For those who don't know, a visitation is a short fan fiction by a Labyrinth fan in which Jareth appears in their ordinary life. In the late nineties in the Labyrinth E-mailing lists it was common to see two or three visitations posted a week. http://www.gobblin.net/ Anyway, Jake T. Forbes (our hero who revived Lab...

Blogs: JAKE T. FORBES AT WONDERCON
http://www.gobblin.net/ According to his Blog, Jake T. Forbes is going to be answering questions about Return to Labyrinth at WonderCon at the end of February. There will be a few 'surprises' and he also is hintng about working on a 'top secret' writing project. Hmm... Not to get our hopes up but could the Henson company be smart enough to be doing an anime of Return to Labyrinth with David Bowie back as the voice of Jareth (that way he wo...

Blogs: WHY IS RETURN TO LABYRINTH PART 3 TAKING SO LONG?
Not long ago Tim Beedle (editor of Return to Labyrinth) told the Myspace Labyrinth group that Return to Labyrinth volume 3 will probably hit stores this autumn. As greteful as I am for The manga I have to ask... why so long? Why take a year for each volume when Greg Weisman (practically on his own) has released an issue per month of the Gargoyles comic books (continuing from the Disney animated series). I know comic books aren't quite the same ...

Blogs: NOTICED IN JAKE T. FORBES' LITTLE HINTS
In a reply to questions asked on his blog if more will be revealed about Jareth's past in the last two volumes of the Return to Labyrinth manga he had this to say... 'The remaining two volumes focus more on the future of the Labyrinth than the past, but Jareth’s past and nature will come up again.'

Blogs: CANDLEWIC AND THE GREAT COLLAPSE
I was looking up a goblin for someone today in the twentieth aniversary edition of The Goblin's of Labyrinth by Biran Froud and Terry Jones. And I rarely look at this book because... well, it was the very last book my mother ever bought for me before she passed away. Well, anyway, I noticed two things. 1. Candlewic is NOT an original creation for the Return to Labyrinth Manga. He was created by Brian Froud and can be found in the goblins of Labyrinth book. I'm f...

I love Labyrinth because it became a piece of my adolescence, not only that but there are many things to it that I adore. As a child I always had a fondness for puppetry. I had also loved fantasy stories that reflect reality in a surreal way like The Wizard of Oz and Alice's adventures in Wonderland. The very first time I saw Labyrinth was in Kindergarden, during recess. It was rainy so they had 'Indoor audiotorium' where the kids watched a movie in the school movie...

Blogs: LABYRINTH AND HARRY POTTER
A while back I wrote a list of all the things Harry Potter and Labyrinth have in common and now I've been able to add to that list that in the Japanese dubbed version of Labyrinth. Kaneto Shiozawa was the voice of Jareth. Ichiro Nagai was the voice of Hoggle. Mami Koyama was the voice of Sarah. Now it happens that Ichiro Nagai (Hoggle) is also Dumbledore in the Japanese dubbed version of the Harry Potter movies. Here's my old Labyrinth / Harry Potter post. ------------------------------------...

Happy New Fears Day, everyone! From the book GOBLINS! by Brian Froud and Ari Berk this is a Goblin Holiday to celebrate new fears, and new devices and tricks to frighten mortals. This holiday is also known as 'Origlam' which means 'Show me' or more presicely 'Put that in my eye.'

I just went to the Jake T. Fobes site (author of Return to Labyrinth) http://www.gobblin.net/ And I think I spotted some accidental spoilers. In his choose your own adventure story Skub is working in the goblin kitchen (which means it has to take place after volume 2 of Return to Labyrinth). And yet Jareth is The Goblin King (Yay!). Did Jake just accidentally give us a spoiler that Jareth returns to being Goblin King?
