I won't be dwelling on the new look and functions of the renovations on the site, I'll think I'll skip all that and just give a small and quick update (I'm not really looking forward to going through my whole fiction and fixing all of the errors though). >_<.
I am still working and slaving over my fiction and have a chunk of the 4th chapter done; it's going to be longer than the other chapters that I've posted so far. Life has been getting in the way again both good and bad, mostly good though ^_^. Schoolwork and just being at school takes up a lot of time but not as much as I thought as first. Weekends have been free except now I'm trying to spend that time with my girlfriend before she goes off to college, then I won't be able to see her very often TT_TT. I have been slowly catching up with my manga and more with my anime.
Kaibutsu Oujo: Also known as Monster Princess or Princess Resurrection. A little unusual, seemingly plain but plenty of enjoyable twists. Hiro moves to a new town to live with his older sister who has become a live-in maid for a mysterious master. The day that Hiro arrives the mansion he is directed to seems abandoned and thinks there is a mistake so he goes into town to find his sister. In town there is a strange site to see, a small girl in a maid uniform pulling a cart laden almost a building high of stuff with a woman riding on top. When Hiro arrives to see this, the cart's wheel has bend and the cart at a stand still. He lays his eyes on the beautiful Hime for the first and seemingly last time as he pushes her out of the way of falling metal beams. The last thing he hears before blacking out is "What a nice corpse." Hiro's act intrigued Hime enough to give him life again in exchange for becoming her eternal servant. Hime and her family have the ability to bring the dead back to life but only for a limited time. Hiro is now half immortal but relies on Hime to keep him up and running with her powers. Now Hiro is the unwilling participant in the struggle between siblings for the underworld's thrown. Hime is one of an unknown number of children by the underworld's King and now it is their fate to fight and defeat each other, because only the strongest may ascend the thrown. Hime seems to draw unique people around her who end up either becoming her servant or ally. Riza appears near the beginning to get revenge on Hime for killing her werewolf brother Lobo; Riza is half werewolf herself. When she learns that there were forces behind her brother attacking Hime she decides to stay and join Hime to get revenge on the one who really caused her brother’s death. Reiri is a vampire with royal lineage who wants Hime's blood to make her more powerful. It’s really unknown if she is an ally or enemy since she mostly stays neutral throughout most of the events. This series is pretty entertaining and I enjoy all the new twists and turns, especially the fact that Hime seems to find all sorts of different weapons and ways to destroy her enemies. Riza and Reiri are my favorite characters, plus the interaction between the two is funny since they hate each other's guts. Riza is always battle ready and seemed to take a shine to Hiro and drags him along anywhere, usually unwillingly. Reiri's personality is interesting and always cool, I love how she plays with Hiro all the time.
I think I'll leave it off here and try to update more often, hopefully the next time I update it will be with the next chapter of Another Side.
