“LILLY”

“LILLY, WHERE ARE YOU! I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW!”

I turned in my bed as I heard Aaron calling. He was the last thing I wanted to see right now or ever in that fact. All I could think about was what he wanted and that I wanted to go back to bed. So I decided to get out of bed to see what he wanted. The sooner I talked with him the sooner he would leave.

I walked over to the mirror that was hanging in my room. I flashed on a white tank top and some black leather pants. With that I flashed my self up into my meeting room. Aaron was standing in the middle of the room and he did not look happy. Of course he never looks happy.

Aaron stood at 6”3”, so about three inches taller then me. He had golden brown hair that looked even darker because of his light brown eyes. And he was built, not the over kind of built but the kind where if you looked at a guy you just know he was built. The perfect kind of built. He was wearing a plain white tee-shirt and blue jeans.

I walked over to him and said “What do you want Aaron?”

He just glared at me as he answered. “Took you long enough.”

“Well what can I say. I couldn’t drown out your voice any more, so I decided to come up so you would shut-up so I could go back to bed.”

“You know you could spend a little less time sleeping and a little more time doing your job.”

“I do my job fine.”

“Yeah, well if you really were I wouldn’t be here right now.”

“What do you mean?”

“What do I mean. That right now a rouge god and a group of demi-gods are planning a take over.”

“OH! Come on Aaron some one is always planning a take-over. Like that is any thing new.”

“IT is! Their planning to take over the human world first then take over the world of the gods. Do you have any idea what would happen if they secede in any part of their plan?”

“Yup. The history, fate, and the future of the humans would change if they took over. If they take over the gods then could cause the whole universe to collapse on itself.”

“You say it as if it means nothing to you.”

“Well it doesn’t”

“What do you mean it doesn’t?”

“Just that. It doesn’t”

“Well it should since you were on of the ones put in charge of watching over the universe. And seeing how this little group is working out of New York City, and seeing that you are in charge of watching over The United States I say it does matter. So get down there and do your job for once.”

“Fine! What would you like me to do to this god and the ones following him.”

“Well that’s easy. Kill them.”

“Witch one?”

“All of them.”

“What?”

“Kill them all. It’s not that heard.”

“I can see killing the god, but what about the demi-gods? Shouldn’t I judge them before I put a death mark on them. I mean we may be killers and assassins, but are reasons for doing so are always just and fair. Tell me why this time should be different.”

Aaron’s face soft for a second before it want heard again. And I could tell I wasn’t going to like the answer he was going to give. “Just think about it Lilly.”

I did and I knew the answer, and I hated it. “It’s because there not ordinary demi-gods are they. Their not half-human, half-god. Their half-god, half-demon. And for that they must be killed.”

Aaron just nodded his head.

“You know I really hate this job some times.”

“We all do. But we must be the ones who do it. We all know that the gods and half-gods must be watched. And we can’t leave that to other gods now can we.”

“Well why not?”

“Because we posses some thing the gods don’t”

“What more power.”

“NO! the fact that we were human once.”

“Yeah once. What does that have to do with it.”

“Because we may not be human any more, but we still contain our human heart and those emotions. Which is some thing the gods can never have or under stand.”

“Yeah, well lucky them.”

“No, Lilly, we are the lucky ones.” and with that Aaron flashed out of the room.
