This is just a fun duel between myself and Jaden from Yu gi oh GX. It is longer then I thought but I hope you enjoy it. Warning I did not give description on what the monsters I use look like. If you want to see that then you'll half to look up Viva Piñata.
Jaden sat quietly on the dock eagerly awaiting the pro duelists that were coming to participate in the GX tournament. In the first day Jaden only got one duel and it was against a student. If this didn't work this time he'd actually half to find someone and that seemed like a lot of work.
"Jaden Yuki!" someone shouted.
Jaden pricked up when he heard his name and looked over his shoulder to see a ra yellow run towards him. A small band of white, blue and two yellow dorms students chase after him.
Jaden stood up and looked a little confused. Ever since the tournament started everyone was staying away from Jaden, even his friends. The kid running towards him didn't look anything special to have a following but soon recognized the mob. They must figure him a weak duelist and would fall easy to their decks.
"Jaden Yuki!" he shouted again. One of the blue dorms jumped at him trying to tackle him. The ra moved to the left where a second blue tried the same thing. The yellow had to spring ahead and then put on the speed.
"Jaden Yuki..." the ra said as he passed by Jaden and over the edge. With big sad eyes the yellow went over not before ripping off his duel disk and tossing it at Jaden who caught it easily.
With a lousy splash the ra was under the water long enough for the mob to look over the edge. Coming out of the water the ra took in a quick breath. "Jaden Yuki I challenge you to a duel."
There was a group sigh from the mob that chased the yellow down.
Enter theme music.
"Hey everyone Truesdale has been spotted at the red dorm," an unknown voice shouted. The mob quickly moved off.
"Are you okay bro?" Jaden asked staring at the ra laying in the water.
"I'm fine," he smiled, "just catching my breath."
"What was that about?" Jaden had to ask but already knew the answer.
"That was my reputation," the ra said moving to the ladder. "I'm a mid ranked duelist for the yellow dorm. Unfortunately it’s mostly do to the fact that I do well in school but not in the field. Names Allen."
"Jaden, but you know that already," Jaden said helping Allen up.
"Yeah, sorry about sounding like a crazy person, but I had to challenge you before they could challenge me," Allen smiled. "Do you know how hard you were to find. I had to duel four students and a pro. I didn't even have time to put my deck away to get here."
"I've been here all day... wait pros, here," Jaden stood up.
"They came last night, there all over the island," Allen explained as he hanged his jacket on a post. "But I'm your opponent now."
"Are you sure? You just said that you’re a poor duelist, Allen," Jaden said handing Allen's duel disk back. Allen took his cards and began shuffling. "Normal I'd accept a duel without question, but I need to duel someone with confidence. Otherwise it's a dull duel."
Allen had to grin. "That's the problem with reputations, they can be so wrong." Putting on his duel disk he stood tall. "Last year I may have been a loser. But this year I moved my rank up thanks to this deck and good friends that I made last summer. With there help I put this deck together with my heart and soul. Now I want my chance at this schools best duelist."
"You're making me blush," Jaden said rubbing the back of his head. "Alright you got yourself a duel." Jaden activated his duel disk.
"Let's party," Allen said turning on his duel disk. (4000LP)
"Game on," Jaden added. (4000LP)
"I'll start things off," Allen said, drawing a card. "I place a monster in defense mode and place down two face downs. Turn end."
"Here we go, draw," Jaden said. "I summon Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (ATK: 1200 DEF: 800 TYPE warrior ATB fire LEV 3) in attack mode. Burstinatrix attack."
Allen's face down monster flipped to colorful horse. Burstinatrix's fire hit the horse causing it to explode in a shower of confetti instead of the normal smoke and fire.
"What was that?" Jaden asked. "That was my Piñata Horstachio (ATK: 1500 DEF: 1000 TYPE: beast ATB: earth LEV: 4) and you've activated his special ability; when ever my Horstachio is attacked it kicks back 500 LP to you." Jaden life points dropped (3500LP). "Oh yeah my Piñata has a second effect, I get candy counters one for every level of my destroyed monster." Four pieces of candy appeared at Allen's side. "My candy, no matter how many I get must stay in one of my monster zones although it is not a monster it’s a counter. It cannot be attacked or defend and if it’s the only thing in my monster zone you can attack me directly. Finally I cannot tribute summon them." "That's a lot of rules," Jaden said. "What good are they then?" "You'll see, in the mean time I can activate my trap card," One of Allen's facedown cards went up. "It's my Rain of Candy and here's how it works. I roll a dice and get that many candy counters added to my pile. Then I subtract the number I rolled from six and you get that many candy counters on your side." "You shouldn't have," Jaden said not really wanting to lose a monster zone. "I was taught to share," Allen replied. A colourful dice rolled and landed on a 4. "That's two for you," Allen said as two candies appeared on Jaden's side and four more added to Allen's pile. "I'll throw down a face down and end my turn," Jaden finished. "Draw," Allen started, "I summon my Piñata Whirlm (ATK: 100 DEF: 100 TYPE: beast ATB: earth LEV: 1) in attack mode." "Ah dude he only has 100 attack points," Jaden pointed out. "I need him in attack mode to play his special ability. By sacrificing a candy counter to my Whirlm I get to look for any field spell and play it. I choose Piñata Garden, and thanks to this card all Piñatas gain 300 attack and defence points." The scene turned into a garden with trees flowers, a lake and pathway. "Where did your Whirlm go?" Jaden asked seeing four piñata question marks floating in the air. "My Whirlm can hide so long as a field spell is in play and it's in attack mode," Allen explained. "You're going to half to find it. I end my turn." Jaden drew. "I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman (ATK: 1600 DEF: 1400 TYPE warrior ATB light LEV 4) in attack mode. Sparkman attack the middle spot." Sparkman did however the question mark just faded. "Sorry but you can try again," Allen shrugged. "Burstinatrix, try the far left," Jaden order. Burstinatrix's fire wash over the question mark but once again there was nothing. A little frustrated Jaden ended his turn. "Draw," Allen started. "I summon Piñata Sparrowmint (ATK: 400 DEF: 400 TYPE: wing beast ATB: wind LEV: 2) in attack mode and remember it gains 300 extra attack and defense (ATK: 700 DEF: 700) thanks to Piñata Garden." "Again not much in attack points," Jaden commented. "But, again, I need it in attack mode to play its special ability," Allen nodded. "My Sparrowmint can attack directly and I don't need to sacrifice any candy. Sparrowmint attack Jaden directly, mint peck!" The little brown bird flew between Jaden's monsters and slammed into Jaden's stomach (2800LP). "I'll call that a turn," Allen said. "Draw," Jaden started. "Sparkman attack Sparrowmint," Sparkman did without hesitation and the piñata exploded in confetti. "Burstinatrix attack the left spot." This time Burstinatrix's fire found the Whirlm and it too was turned to confedy.
Allen's life point dropped quickly (2300LP), but three new candy counters were added to the pile (10). "I'll throw down a face down and call it a turn," Jaden said adding a second face down card. "Then I'll draw," Allen said taking his cue. "And I'll start by summoning Piñata Syrupent (ATK: 500+300 DEF: 0 TYPE: serpent ATB: earth LEV: 1) in attack mode. Next I'll play my spell card Piñata Pot of Greed." The picture on the card showed a Pot of Greed only this one was a rainbow of colors. "With this card we both can draw cards equal to the number of cards with piñata in there name. I have three Piñata Pot of Greed, Piñata Syrupent and Piñata Garden," both Jaden and Allen drew three new cards. "Now I play In the Grass, this card allows me to look through my deck and summon a piñata monster with 500 attack points or less tot he field. And I choose my Piñata Syrupent. (ATK: 500+300 DEF: 0 TYPE: serpent ATB: earth LEV: 1) Unfortunately they do not have any special ability other then the candy thing." "I active Polimaztion to fuse my two Syrupents together to form Piñata Twingersnap (ATK: 1600+300 DEF: 1500+300 TYPE: serpent ATB: earth LEV: 6). My monster here has a number of abilities depending on how many candies I sacrifice. But I'll use my monster's none candy powers so I can attack twice in one turn. Twingersnap attack Burstinatrix first." Jaden covered his face as Burstinatrix was bitten by one of the heads (2100LP). "Now attack Sparkman." Jaden waited until after his monster was destroyed (1800LP). "I active my trap card Hero Signal. Now I can some an Elemental Hero with four stars or less and I call on Elemental Hero Avian (ATK: 1000 DEF: 1000 TYPE warrior ATB wind LEV 3) in attack mode." "I'll put a face down card and end my turn," Allen finished. "Draw and I play O Oversoul to bring my Elemental Hero Sparkman (ATK: 1600 DEF: 1400 TYPE warrior ATB light LEV 4) back and then I play my Polimaztion to fuse Sparkman, Avian and Bubbleman to summon Elemental Hero Tempest (ATK: 2800 DEF: 2800 TYPE warrior ATB light LEV 8). Now Tempest, break that piñata." In a flash of bubbles the Twingersnap was gone. "Another one of my Twingersnap's free abilities active; not only do I get six new candy counters (16) but two Broken Piñata Tokens (ATK: 300+300 DEF: 0+300 TYPE beast ATB earth LEV 1) both in defense mode," Allen explained (1400LP). "Two cards face down and that's it for me," Jaden said. "Draw," Allen smiled at the card. "Sorry Jaden it looks like this is it I active the spell card Share the Wealth. This card allows me one of two choices I can either take half of your candy counters or give you all of mine." Jaden raised his eyebrow. "Go ahead," Jaden offered, "I'm not using them." "Actually I'm given you mine," Allen said as all the candy from Allen side disappeared from his side and joined Jaden's stash. (18) "Thanks but unless it's real I don't want any," Jaden said. "That's alright there not staying. I active my trap card that I placed at the beginning of this duel. Candy Raiders, this card destroys all candy counters on the field and the owner of the candy takes 200 points of damage for each one destroyed." Four tiki heads with arms and legs suddenly appeared and ate the candy them instantly turned on Jaden. In a haze of dust Jaden disappeared and reappeared seconds later with Sparkman, Bubbleman and Avian at his side. "What?" Allen said. "That was 3800 points of damage how did you survive?" "It was easy," Jaden replied simply (1000LP). "I activated my Element Recharge, along with De-Fusion. De-fusion went first and I split Tempest back to Sparkman, Bubbleman and Avian. Then Element Recharge took effect and I received 1000 life points for each Elemental Hero on my side of the field." Allen growled. "Except you made a big mistake and left all your monsters in attack mode. So I can sacrifice my two tokens in order to summon my strongest monster in this deck. Come out Piñata Dragonache (ATK: 2500+300 DEF: 1500+300 TYPE: dragon ATB: wind LEV: 8). Like my twingersnap my monster's abilities are based on the number of candies I give up." "But you don't have any," Jaden pointed out. "Except, I can activate my Leftover Candy spell card. This allows two free Candy Counters appear. Now I sacrifice one to activate dragonache's first ability," The colourful dragon happily swallowed one of the candies. "Now he gains 500 extra attack points. Attack Bubbleman with Hot tomalley breath!" Opening it mouth fire came shooting out. "I didn't leave my heroes without some protection," Jaden smiled. "I play my Hero Barrier trap card. This card protects one of my heroes from an attack." The fire hit an invisible wall leaving Bubbleman unharmed. "I end my turn," Allen said. "And I draw," Jaden said. "Sorry but this duels over. I play Polimaztion to fuse Avian and Bubbleman together to create Elemental Hero Mariner (ATK: 1400 DEF: 1000 TYPE: warrior ATB: water LEV: 5), and when I have a face down, like so," Jaden played a face down, "He can attack directly." Mariner did just that swinging an anchor right on top of Allen (0LP). The duel disks turned off and the dock returned to normal. "That was," Allen started, "Anti climatic." "What?" Jaden nearly tripped. "I'm sorry it's just that you finish off your opponents, with an impressive combo," Allen explained. "Maybe it's just because I lost. I feel like I let down my friends and my deck." "If you want to raise your rank, meet me at the red dorm tomorrow, I'll help you," Jaden said. "Really, how?" Allen asked. "You'll see," Jaden smiled. "Just know that you'll have a dino time."
You didn't think I was actully going to beat Jaden. As much as I don't enjoy this character he's just too good. Maybe I shouldn't have let him draw extra cards.

Good Duel. The Viva Pinata copy based monsters were much but interesting at the same time and yeah Jaden is that good regardless of how anyone feels. To say the least you managed to keep it realistic.
