But how can I believe you
When you're not even there?
You allow me to suffer

Is starting to go.

When I'd run up and hug you

The biggest smile you'd have
When I stood on tip-toe and kissed you.
The warmest embrace
When I told you how I loved you.
Then one day you decided
It was just too much for you.
You wanted to go.
You wanted it to be through.
I asked you not to leave me.
I begged you with tears.
But you ignored all of that
And left me with my fears.

With just an occasional word.
The tears haven't stopped,
But I guess you haven't heard.
