Naruto was sitting stubbornly on the floor of the Hokage's office. "I'm ready for harder missions! Believe it! I'm tired of this stuff."
Solari rolled her eyes as Sakura argued back. "Naruto, we're genin. You can't expect harder missions than this, use common sense."
"Actually, if you all feel ready you can be assigned a C-ranked mission. Are they ready Kakashi?" Sandaime asked.
Kakashi nodded. "I believe they are ready. I guess we will have to wait and see."
"Right, let's see then. There is a man who needs a guard to the Land of the Waves. It is a reasonably simple mission. It mainly consists of protection from roadside bandits and things like that."
"Alright! We'll take it!" Naruto shouted, jumping into the air.
"If that is alright with the rest of you, Tazuna-san should be right outside this building." Team Kakashi turned to leave. "Solari, please stay behind for a moment."
As the others left the room, Sakura turned around and gave Solari a questioning look. Solari shook her head and waved Sakura out.
"Have you told Sasuke-kun yet?" the Hokage asked once everyone else had left.
Solari shook her head. "Not yet, no."
"You should soon. Like you said: he deserves to know."
"Right."
Sandaime nodded. "You can meet everyone outside now. Oh, you should know that I told Kakashi about this. He has promised not to tell anyone without your permission."
Solari left the room. When she got outside, Solari saw Naruto being restrained by Sasuke and Sakura while shouting at an old man.
"What did you call me?!?!"
"Here she is," Kakashi said, clearly relieved. "Solari, this is Tazuna-san. He is the bridge builder we will be accompanying to the Land of the Waves."
"It's very nice to meet you," Solari said, bowing her head in respect.
Tazuna surveyed her then gestured towards Naruto. "At least your manners are better than his. But you still don't seem like a good guard."
Soalri was insulted. She was easily the strongest person on her team. As much as she hated thinking about why she was stronger, she was still proud of that strength.
"I think we should head out," Kakashi said to break the building tension.
"Right, let's go," Solari agreed, not taking her eyes off of Tazuna.
They headed towards one of the village gates. Kakashi put his hand on Solari's shoulder and they both stopped walking.
"That look on your face Solari, is there something bothering you?"
"No, I'm fine," Solari said, pushing his hand away.
"Is there anything you need to ask me? I get the feeling that there is."
Solari sighed. "Alright, there is. Is it true that Hokage-sama told you that I am an Uchiha?" She couldn't bring herself to say 'Sasuke's sister.'
Kakashi nodded. "He told me. It wasn't much of a surprise though. I guess being introverted is an Uchiha family trait. Both you are Sasuke are shockingly similar in that regard."
"Should I tell him? Sasuke doesn't know."
"Well, I'm not in a position to make your choices for you. But if it were me, I would tell him."
Solari nodded. "Thanks." She ran off after the rest of the group, Kakashi following close behind.
