i wonder why

question: how come as a sixteen year old i am fully able of making up lemon scenes ( esp yaoi lemon ) yet i'm not allowed to read it? it doesn't make sense. i mean yeah we don't want really young kids to read smut, but when your mind can make it up, aren't you damaged already? if you can think up a reason, please reply.
