Over-rated weapon!!
I have seen enough anime and manga over the years to notice one commen thing among heroes. The weapons they carry, I've noticed that there are many characters now that are equiped with the all mighty sword. I notice swords are the most popular weapon amoung heroes.
I'm don't mean to hate on you sword lovers, but mann!! The sword is the most over-rated weapon known to protaganists (main characters). I well even put myself out there, I love the sword myself. I'm not saying I hate the sword, I'm just hating on it. I would rather see more Bo staff, bow, spear, knives, or kali stix on protaganists.
I don't see many protaganist who wheeled these weapons. What about you? I know that there has to be a weapon out there, other then a sword you would rather see on a protaganist. Just think if you were a hero of a manga. What weapon would you wheeled other then a sword. ^_^ Get back to me..

Your right, most main characters do have swords, I was going to try and put you out by saying that Vincent Valantine has a gun, but he's only the main character in Diegre of cerberus. Final Fantasy belongs to Cloud so it's not included. I f I had to choose a weapon that wasn't a sword, it would have to be a double headed axe.
