The Devil's Secret
The main story in this volume features a priest in a small rural church and the injured teenager he rescued-who happens to have horns and a tail! Is raou; really a demon? Morreover ,what's a priset to do when faced with a handsome, grabby [and possibly demonic] male teenager? This is followed by a couple of short stand-alone stories: an overly energetic and somewhat dim student teacher .two classmates grow distant after an awkward love confession but one keeps waiting. There's also a spineoff of the main story featureing the older brother and his own persistent suitor, which was my favorite out of the book. There is a decent variety here in terms of setting and atmosphere, from the main story's supernatrural flavor to the silly puppyish antics of "Let's Do Something Useless" or the quiet, somber feeling of "Before Winter Comes..." There are also a few decently steamy scenes, but nothing really hardcore. If you enjoy Takanaga's cute, effervescent style you'll probably like this one as well. It's also definitely of intrest for anyone into priset and/or demons. There's nothing deep or complex, but it doesn't take itself too seriously and takanaga's good at silly and charming.
