It's decision time for me.
My fans at school have nagged me to post one of my older manga on my website since they like it so. It's kind of for older girls, about age 13 and so. I wrote the story when I was 13, so yeah. The issue is that I would rather post another older story I wrote since I like it better, although it would be more work on my part. T_T Eep. So I have a choice between two of my manga.
Each manga has their good side and their bad side, which I shall list for my decision making benfit.
-------
manga I: "Gaeadians"
story: Some kids in a fantastical world discover they're the Guardians to save their land from a growing evil.
A shoujo-action manga with some elements of shoujo right in the lines of Sailor Moon almost. I wrote the story when I was about thirteen, so that's a good six years. It was written on low-quality paper, so it may look funky when scanned in and doctored up. It was originally intended for older girl audiences.
Good side - Little effort to make. Good story.
Bad side - Everything done by hand, including lettering which may or may not look weird considering my handwriting. The art can be wonky at times. I drew it when I was a kid pretty much.
The story outline is kind of...cliche I think, but it would work with the intended audience (considering my fans) and there is a plot hole I've been meaning to fix.
manga II: "[title pending]"
story: A man discovers he has a long lost daughter, to the chagrin of his boyfriend and friends.
This story may or may not be considered shounen-ai because it's more based in reality, in the fact that it deals with gay issues both political and social. I wrote it about...three years ago because I wanted to do something about social commentary, being bisexual myself and facing a lot of annoyances.
Good side - Short manga. I prefer the story here acutally.
Bad side - A short manga that may leave fans wanting more. But it would be easier to do. There's also a lot of social and political commentary stuff that may turn away regular yaoi/shonen-ai fans. It's more for older teens, like 17 and up.

So far, I'm leaning towards the second manga, but I'm still weighing my decision.
