Abriel spread her wings made of spiritual energy and began to walk down the purple carpet past all the demigods and towards the major gods were all were present at there thrones except for Venus, who had chosen not to attend this hypocritical and cruel meeting of the deities. Very few spiritual beings were happy about the way this had turned out for most of them could see the obvious cruelty in the act that was soon too be preformed. Many could barely look at Abriel without turning away in guilt and shame that they had not spoken against Zeus or Odin. Why was it such a bad thing for a goddess of love to do what she knew everything about and love another god? The answer was in the prejudice for she was a servant of Zeus and Odin while he was a servant of Hades and Loki. What was so unholy about light and darkness joining in the holy communion of the love, after all light completes darkness just as day completes night, which makes sunset and sunrise, which is the most beautiful time of all.

Abriel looked into the eyes of her dead lover as blood still dripped from his mouth and began too remember from the beginning.

The Beginning

Abriel was a young girl born on the planet of the gods, which goes by many names one of which is the afterlife. At the time she was born the bloody war was still raging between two brothers known by the names of Zeus and Hades. Zeus had joined forces with Odin the wise and Hades had joined forces with Odin’s rebellious son known by the name Loki. Abriel had been raised in a time of war by a mom who was a goddess that had resigned from the position of goddess of home and hearth and by a father who only saw her once a year but other than that was off fighting the gods and demons of the underworld. Abriel was never really convinced of the reasons of the war but didn’t try to stop it for she had other tasks in the goddess training of the 1^st gate of heaven. Even after that she was busy in the exams of the goddesses to find out what position she would be granted. Then when she was tried, accepted, and initiated into the 51^st gate of heaven which was for goddesses of love where she was to be trained.

The training was much different than the basic training that the usual goddesses are granted for the goddesses of love played a special role in running the planet they were assigned to after there training was completed. Abriel was first taught in the ways of charm and beauty, which was every goddess’s dream for while most goddesses were beautiful very few knew the secrets of charming and beautifying like the goddesses of love. Though the training was fun for the goddesses it was not easy at all.

The next training was how to use magick; the goddesses were trained in basic defense but were trained specially in the art of love magic. They were taught how to tell when somebody’s soul was ready to experience true love and then taught how to find that persons mate and use physic connections to make those two people meet. Even then she would have to decide how they should meet because each person would take love differently. Sometimes the goddess would even have to help out the other gods and goddesses but that was done rarely and when done it was done by the wisest love goddess available and not without the consent of the oracle of the gods. The oracle was the god who knew everything that was to come and was a master of the moon deities. The oracles differed from deity to deity because each god or goddess saw the oracle in a different form than another god or goddess would. Also the oracle was never replaced unless it was killed for it was very hard to find a being to replace the oracle.

Abriel’s oracle was a rather frisky young lady who was very found of Abriel even in the worst circumstances. She would often give Abriel advice about the young gods that Abriel was curious about. Abriel was one of the few young goddesses to see the oracle very often because most of the goddesses had not become friends with there oracles.

The third training was more magick but it taught them how to use basic magick to defend themselves from other deities or beings. It also taught them basic spells to get small effects or objects. That was all they were taught about that sort of magick but that didn’t matter much because in truth that was simply what was required of a goddess of love but they were always allowed to study on there own if they wanted more.

After that they were each if deserving granted the position of the goddess of love and proceeded to go on a pilgrimage were they would wonder a planet practicing there art on the locals. Abriel’s pilgrimage wasn’t much to brag about other than the fact that she learned how to make humans in particular fall in love.

Abriel then ascended back to the planet of the gods to began the passing ritual of the 52^nd gate which was for the goddesses who had completed their pilgrimage and truly learned there trade. She had completed all required tasks and many none required tasks with perfection and was ready to ether receive a planet or a job. Most likely she was going to receive a planet that was in a gate that wasn’t to highly evolved because she was just beginning her goddess rule. She proceeded through the 52^nd gate and onto the ruling goddess of love who would assign her with a gate and planet.

The Selection

Abriel watched with extreme interest as the most wise lover stood from her throne made of love itself for the most wise lover was none other than Venus herself who had defeated all other deities in the contest of lovers to become the main goddess of love for the planet earth which was the hardest but most grand to run. It was Venus herself who had single handedly perfected the art of love magick Not only that but she had successfully past all 244 gates of love (the hardest quest that any love goddess could ever attempt due to the low survival rate. In the passing of the 244 gates the goddess has to invoke each dead love ruling deity before given the key to the next gate. When they invoke the dead deity the are charged with pure love energy and eventually if the goddess is not powerful enough the energy overpowers her and usually results in insanity or death.) As Venus began to chant the introduction invocation of the spirits of love her voice caused everyone to fall under a romantic aura.

Then as silence fell the nervousness spread and every goddess became wondering of what planet would they be assigned to. Venus raised her hands to the air, closed her eyes and began to call goddesses to the altar to be blessed with a planet. Then finally after thirty days and thirty nights of watching the other goddesses go up to the altar, return to the castle dorms for sleep, and wake up to complete the pattern, Abriel was finally called up to the altar. The silence was crushing and would make one feel as if she or he were dead. Then finally Venus herself broke the silence and said these words “Young child you have

been blessed and cursed, made heavenly and damned, loved and hated, wanted and rejected, things given and things stolen, embraced and brutalized. Young child the oracle no not what to say, for you blind her eyes the day you pass the gate, sulfur will fall from the skies the day you cry upon a blood ridden river which comes from Zeus’s jar and passes down the aisles of the gods. Loved you are and hated you are, the goddess of love and the goddess of prejudiced peoples you will go to the planet of the 666^th gate.” Only for Abriel had Venus been given a prophecy so therefore the goddesses were scared. Not only that but she was to help rule the 666^th gate and everybody knew that was an evil number.

Abriel left the assembly and began to pass through the vortex of space to the cursed gated planet. She could see the reddish crimson swirling in a vortex as she approached her new planet. When she arrived she was greeted by all the gods and goddesses existent on that planet and they were all preparing there palaces located in the heavens of the planet. The gods and goddesses went by these names: Bracholel the god of light, Goda the god of all forms of water, Sheila the goddess of flames and the infernal rites, Eesh the god of wild parties and all that is fun, Shallel/Famiel/Soliel the triple goddesses of magick, Knowlegia the goddess of the wise and all knowledge, Solel the god of wind, Amimel the goddess of earth and fertility, Owshan/Lasho/Emela the triple goddesses of lust and earthly desires, and Showeheh the god of darkness and all that is forbidden. These were the gods and they were beautiful, each in there own way.

Abriel sat in the palace that she had designed and began to ponder over all that the most wise lover had said to her. Only two times in all eternity had the most wise lover made a prophecy at an initiation both occurrences were in the times before the gods. The first was with the titans when the most wise lover told Zeus’s titan father that his lust would create a new age. The second one (which in truth happened before the titans but is listed afterwards to help Zeus’s reputation) was during the time of energies that eventually gave birth to the titans. This prophecy told of a coming day when the energies would lose their sanity and become silent and un-wavering. This was the third time in all of eternity that this had happened and Abriel knew that three was a magick number so she was curious about what would happen.

Abriel sat and waited for forty days and forty nights while the other deities of her planet decide how they would create their world and run it. Abriel had no say in this matter for it is not a goddess of love’s job to create but to simply use what is given to find love and drag it out. After that she would only have pure will and luck to decide what the other deities would turn out to act like. What would happen wondered Abriel, as she climbed to the top of the highest tower, by what was considered proper a love goddess should try to impress and marry the light deity but Bracholel seemed to stuck up for her. Goda and Eesh were out of the question from what Abriel had seen for they were not her taste. The only god that seemed likable was to be the ruler of an underworld filled with demons that he would have to create. Showeheh was very nice in being the first to greet Abriel upon arrival and never made any sarcastic comments or looked at her lustfully. He was also a very handsome god, which was weird for most servants of darkness were ugly or creepy looking. Alas Abriel chose not to judge everybody before she got to know them.

The love that kills.

Abriel walked down the aisles of the palace of Goda’s underwater palace, and even Abriel who had been born with a particular taste of beauty had to admit that this was the most beautiful palace in her gate. Every time she went to her palace she felt that something was missing and she knew what that something was (servants), but that was besides the point. For Goda had invited her to dinner and despite what Abriel had thought of Goda before he turned out to be rather friendly (and only friendly for nothing lustful, loving, or anything other under that topic happened between Abriel and Goda). Goda had almost immediately became rather protective over Abriel after they had first chatted among the heavens. They began to act almost like a sister and a brother would treat each other. The only problem though was that Goda could not leave the water, in fact he was the water half the time for while among Abriel (and only Abriel) he would be in the form of his body but afterwards he would dissolve into the water and control the oceans.

As for the other gods and goddesses Abriel found usually friendly and accepting, that is except for Brocholel and the triple goddesses of lust and earthly desires. Both of them were highly un-accepting, incredibly demanding, and very hypocritical but unfortunately they all came from spoiled high-class families who if threaten could get away with anything. There was only one god that no one had dared visit yet and that was Showeheh. Abriel felt sorry for him for everybody should have some company no matter who it might be so she decided to visit him in the underworld. She consulted Goda about this before trying this and learned that it was imposable to get into the lair of hell unless the blackest goat was sacrificed.

Armed with this knowledge Abriel walked a black goat down the astral path towards the gates of hell. Upon arrival she saw the fiery gates with a inverted pentacle in front of her. Abriel laid the goat down and used charm magick to put it to sleep then took the dagger and raised it to the air chanting “Let the fire separate and the darkness come” and she stabbed the goat though the heart and outlined the pentacle with the blood. Then she heard a deep darkness swelling voice and death spoke “Why have you come to hell without being dragged for it is cursed here and you are blessed”

“I am blessed and cursed” replied Abriel with all the strength she could muster.

“Then the gates are open to you” replied the voice and the gates swung open revealing a rather pleasant palace. Were Abriel had expected a torture chamber there was a living room and were she had been expecting a guillotine there was a leather couch. She looked towards the beautifully constructed stairs and saw the rather handsome dark god walking towards her. As he came near her he greeted her with “Well darling welcome to my palace, ha I was expecting that no one would have the guts to enter and I definitely wasn’t expecting a goddess of love”.

“Well one never knows what will happen” countered Abriel.

“Ah for you are not only beautiful but kind is also a trait which belongs to you”.

“You speak too generously”, she responded as he showed her to the crimson colored dining hall and commanded the demon servants to prepare dinner.

He looked at Abriel and said “Its quite a luxury, isn’t it being able to get whatever material goods you want, but it seems that in the luxury our dear friend Brocholel has lost sight of the truly important things” Showeheh said “don’t you agree?”.

“Yes, absolutely” Abriel responded. They began to eat, the food was delicious and made Abriel keep wanting more. They talked and talked till it seemed they would never stop talking. They eventually went from talking to flirting and from flirting to kissing, it was strange for Abriel knew all there was to know about love she had never been in love and now she was just realizing how important her job truly was. Then something truly wonderful happened, god and goddess joined together as one and made love. This act was so holy, so sacred, so unique that the walls of hell vibrated with magick for god and goddess were one, the cursed and the blessed, the love and the hate, the light and the darkness were one. From that point on Abriel and Showeheh met like this many more times in secret, other than those two Goda was the only god that knew of this. Though Abriel and Showeheh’s love were sacred it would not have been accepted by the other deities for she was a servant of the holy empire and he a lord of darkness and forbidden taboo.

It had been many years of love till one day when Abriel was receiving worship from the humans of her planet in a temple they had made for her. She would often go down to them so they could worship her and talk with her, she rather enjoyed there company for they were all loving her as there mother and she loved them like they were her own children. One day in the temple she was dancing with them when Brocholel stormed in with a furious light that flooded the entire temple. He screamed many invocations and finally said in and angry voice “You unholy w****, you and only you slept with the prince of darkness how dare you when you could have easily refused him”

Abriel stood straight and stared him in the face and finally said “You selfish bastard, you don’t even care about my relationship your just jealous, I will ask you once and only once please leave my temple and stop disrespecting my children”.

“Your over your head you demon w****” he said as he used and open palm fisted punch charged with magick to nock her all the way to the back of the temple. He then used magick to summon spears made of rock from the ground impaling all five thousand followers. He raised his hands to the heavens and said “Great sword of the heavens I invoke you to do battle” and suddenly a heavenly fierce light flooded in and a shining blade appeared in the hands.

“You dare call upon Odin’s sword, you are more immature than I thought you were” responded Abriel. Then upon that day a battle erupted and god and goddess fought for the causes. Brocholel swung madly with Odin’s sword at Abriel who used magick to deflect and counter his swings. Though Abriel had been holding up well to the attacks she began to grow weary and her magick was weakening for she had never been quite the fighting type. Brocholel however was still going strong after two days of fighting and was not weakening in the least bit.

Soon enough the final blow came and knocked Abriel to the ground unable to move and Brocholel raised his sword for the killing strike laughing and saying to Abriel “Did you think you could defeat a holy force, you were foolish”.

“NO YOU WERE FOOLISH FOR NOT EXPECTING HER TO HAVE HELP” shouted a distant voice that only could belong to brother Goda. Then suddenly the water from the seas gathered in the form of a great dragon that slashed and bit at Brocholel who was in a state of shock. They did battle for hours till the triple goddesses of lust and earthly desires came to the aid of Brocholel and the triple goddesses of magick came to the aid of Abriel and Goda. Goda formed into a swirling vortex around the battle to keep out the triple goddesses of lust and earthly desires but to keep in everybody else. Abriel joined her magick with the trinity if magick who were all putting full strength against Brocholel (while he kept on jumping at them with his blade). They fought for hours with a steady beat, then later on Eesh came in from above with music around him and forming into a weapon. Eesh fought hard and damaged Brocholel many times but when Sheila joined in he was over powered by her and killed by her flames. Goda then formed four arms, three of which to hold the triple goddesses of lust and earthly desires in place and the forth to crush Sheila slowly and painfully for she had killed one of Goda’s true friends. Once Sheila was dead Goda formed back into the swirling vortex and the battle between the forces continued.

Then after forty days and forty nights upon the horizon came the armored love of Abriel, for it was Showeheh with his allies known as Knowledgia, Solel, and Amimel all armed and ready for battle with the light and Odin’s sword which had been supplying Brocholel with immense power. Goda then crushed the enemy triple goddesses and formed a gateway so that Showeheh and the others could enter the battle. Showeheh used powerful tabooed magick with a sword from hell along with demons summoned from the underworld. Then Brocholel summoned angels from the heavens and blood began to fill the waters of Goda. Now within the vortex of blood Brocholel swung madly as the others defended themselves and countered his strikes. After thirty days and thirty nights of battle both Abriel and Showeheh jabbed with the swords at the same time and there love caused the two swords to form into one mighty blade that stabbed through Brocholel’s heart and killed him. He suddenly exploded and the impact caused the blade to fly and land point first in a cave made of crystals were it lies to this day.

The next day the gods of the counsel found out about the battle and Zeus and Odin decided to use it as an excuse to ruin the purity of the love goddesses and to invade the underworld again.

The trial

Abriel walked down the golden stairs and bowed to great Zeus and wise Odin and began to recite the truth of what had happened that day of the battle while both gods used her words against her. The trial lasted only two days till both her and Showeheh were pronounced unholy and sentenced to death by guillotine. Abriel watched from the end of the purple carpet as Showeheh was beheaded.

Suddenly sulfur rained from the skies and the gods and goddesses were all either killed or heavenly blessed depending on the weight of there heart. As the guillotine fell upon the head of Abriel both Zeus and Odin were burnt alive and Loki and Hades made a final charge which pushed every corrupt deity into the void of space and crushed them into nothingness. Abriel and Showeheh were finally dead and therefore together in eternity, embracing in nothingness.
