BAND GEEKS
Alright. I'm really fed up with people thinking that members of marching band are losers. We're NOT. Today was the Homecoming Pep Rally at my school, and we performed there, as usual, and WHOA did we get a RESPONSE. And let's just say, I do NOT enjoy having streamers and other odd objects thrown at me. NOT ONE BIT.
Now, I respect all those idiotic football players and dumb cheerleaders, so I expect them to do the same. (And no, I'm NOT serious about calling them "idiotic" and "dumb"...for the most part, at least.) But NO. And all those other people who couldn't play an instrument while marching in correct formation at the same time need to get the HELL over themselves and SHUT THE F**K UP!!
Now I'm just ranting. But marching band and even concert band is a LOT harder than people seem to think.
SO SHUT UP!! Or else I'll go ninja on you. YEAAAAAAH. I thought so. HMPH.

Well. "Band geeks." "Bandoes." We've heard it all. Those "losers" who parade around with uniforms and instruments and weird hats. Right? WRONG!! MARCHING BAND MEMBERS ARE ACTUALLY REALLY COOL!! Or maybe I'm just biased because I AM one. =D

i agree with you its really hard to play AND to walk i cant do that i get dessy went i play standing with my clarinet! i seporte you all the way went peoples thrown things at you its not rite. like come on peoples get i life

I agree with you. Now, i'm not in marching band myself, but my cousin is, and she works real hard to get those formations right while making sure not to bump into anyone and play her music correctly. Those people are just dumb for throwing stuff at you guys. Its an art in itself and should not be underestimated! I hope that doesn't happen to you again, and that your marching band times go well! :3
